Pros
Working at yhangry was really incredible. Working with smart, engaged people to solve incredibly complex problems at a pace I didn't know I was capable of. - Got to work and learn directly from both founders (Heinin & Siddhi) who are genuinely open to challenge and feedback - There's no ego or politics in the company - you just come in every day and work as a team to do incredible things - The whole team is super friendly and warm - You learn to work at an unbelievable pace - one I've tried to replicate at other companies since - You can have an impact on any part of the business. There's no "staying in your lane" or "stepping on someone's toes" a true meritocracy of ideas - The chefs are really amazing to work with. I still keep in touch with many of them - Talent density is very high so you have space to grow - The company has product and tech at it's core Working at yhangry was a career making role. High impact, high energy, lots of fun, no politics, super transparent.
Cons
Not a con for me but there was a lot of change and ambiguity (expected given it's a young start up) so you need to ensure you're comfortable navigating those and can ask for support if you need it (in my experience the support was always available)
