Great people, great amount of PTO

Cons

Just do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place; you'll regret it immediately otherwise, as I have for the last few years. The focus is on metrics and not on underwriting. If you like to be micromanaged to death in a call center, then this place is for you. Home office and the underwriting center have no communication and the executives are clueless as to how to run an organization. I would sincerely rather be homeless than ever again set foot inside this place. Please heed these words and apply elsewhere no matter how desperate you are. They do not care about you and they will not care for you.

The only pro is being a part of Allstate.

Cons

Bad management, extremely poor leadership. I have had 3 managers in 2 years. 2 of them have never managed anyone before and had no clue. The 3rd was a horrible leader. She made mistakes and took it out on her employees. By this time next year Encompass will only be a distribution channel for Allstate.

Some of the people, paid time off.

Cons

Poor management by current president who is clueless and not present. Poor management in operations and product operations, changes are made without planning and everything is chaos. Leaders make changes and then when things don't work they forget the change was their idea and blame everyone else. Senior management is unprofessional. They don't care about ease of doing business for agents.
