A great environment to learn and grow

Pros

Everyone is encouraged to be their best and to build their skills and knowledge. Being a smaller company you are made to feel a part of the organisation and everyone knows each other by name which creates a great environment that I enjoy coming in to every day. Clear progression plans are given and I have always been encouraged to learn and grow both in technical and soft skills to further my career. Management and ownership look to support everyone and ensure that they do all they can to make every staff member feel valued. The diverse range of clients gives me a feeling that I am making a difference for the better with what I do. Staff social events are always very enjoyable.

Cons

The job can be stressful at times.

Genuinely awful place to work

Pros

- Central location near transport, so very easy to get as far away from there when you’re done for the day. - Will pay for you to do Microsoft certifications if that’s relevant to you

Cons

- Terrible leadership IMO. Passive Aggressive most of the time. Aggressive the remainder of the time. Have been screamed at by leadership. Totally unprofessional. - Extreme Micromanagement. Told how to work. Give you enough independence that if anything goes wrong it’s fully your fault and not theirs. - 80/20 WFH split. Everywhere else is 60/40 or 40/60. Again, I believe this to be a lack of trust in employees and micromanagement. - Yet to work in another office where my every minute was monitored through leadership and CCTV. - No flexi, very difficult booking health appointments. - Toxic environment IMO. Not sure why some tenured staff think they’re great. They’re big fish in an extremely small pond. - Appears to have been a directive on the 5th of October 2023 to post positive reviews of the place on Glassdoor. All opinions expressed are based on my own experience.

We have not received any similar feedback, either in grievances (formal or informal) or exit interviews. I appreciate however it can be difficult to give criticism to an employer, especially in a small business like Endeavour. Each year, a mail shot is sent out to employees to encourage them to place reviews on Glassdoor. This is to meet our obligations as an Open Employer on the platform. We do not require any employee to post a review, and we do not require them to be positive, merely honest. I would be very keen to discuss this further with you, if you would be willing. Pros

Endeavour offer employees the opportunity to develop themselves through exams, courses, coaching and other support they may need. Endeavour also has a good working environment and it shows that the owners & management team try their best for the employees.
