      Great people, bad pay and leadership

      Pros

      People are some of the best people I have met. A great diverse group that all gets along with one another, office is very modern and nice.

      Cons

      Leadership suffers greatly, they act like it's a Wall Street firm when all they do is sell gutters. Pay is not that great while executives and leaders openly talk about their massive bonuses. Toxic environment when any Director level or up is involved with IT, we are forced to play favorites for their egos. Promised salary raises will be delayed if it affects the leadership's bonuses. Lastly, it's the home improvement industry that targets older richer clients, don't expect the company to last in this market.

      Pros

      A big part of why I love working here is the fact that even though it is a somewhat big company with multiple branches across the nation it still has a family business feel. It was also really nice to get an email from our CEO Brad Beldon to congratulate me on my 1 year employment and another to wish me Happy Birthday. That is a personal touch that makes a person feel important and part of the team / LeafGuard family. Benefits are also really good for the employees. My branch has really great people and it's a joy to work with them so coming to work is never a problem.

      Cons

      The company does not match 401k. Personally cannot afford benefits for my whole family. Sometimes I feel there is not much chance for advancement within the company and have to wonder if this could be a lifelong career.

      Good quality products, well known name.

      Cons

      DO NOT believe the "glowing" reviews that were recently posted by employees. They were likely coerced unfortunately. The company's sales have declined significantly over the last 10 years due to running off good management because of a toxic & hostile environment. Company is reportedly for sale after being run into the ground.
