Where to begin...
-The pay is incredibly low for the workload.
-The micromanaging and bullying is insane and the way some ADs/Ops leads/SEMs treat event managers is incredibly insulting and demeaning. The abuse is real and nothing will ever change
-While living in central time zone, I was assigned programs for Europe and Hawaii (there's that great travel!) and expected to be work regular hour hours but also be online for meetings all timezones with no off time. That resulted in 18 hour days.
-While working on 5 programs, I expressed that I was starting to feel the beginnings of burn out and was told 'this is how it is, get used to it'
-If you have medical issues or a death in your family and need to take time off, expect to come back to work and be put on a PIP (I know of at least 2 people this happened to)
-Tried to take PTO and it got denied, not unheard of and after asking around seemed to be that others would get pushback on their requests
-Someone get yelled at for not responding to a client email within an hour, on a Friday night at 10pm when they were at the Vet ER
-Allegedly the managers rank their employees during the manager meetings
-You have to fight for yourself for a promotion
