If you think working for a start up is cool and is a must have on your resume.. THINK AGAIN...THINK DIFFERENTLY...... After working here, you will never ever get that feeling again.
Decisions are totally arbitrary and done based on the mood of the day of the 1 or 2 top directors.
They call themselves a product company, but have absolutely no focus on the user. The investors of this company are being taken completely for a ride, or are born fools being parted finally from their money. The top directors are given bonus based on how many versions were released. Which means they make sure multiple product releases are pushed through even if they crash your mobile / tablet.
First they tried to create a so called “mobile BI” product which did nothing better than existing spreadsheet products.. and failed at that. Almost all of the few hundred installs showing on iTunes or PlayStore were by internal employees to see if it works or not (it mostly did not work :) ).
After that … they decided to copy another sales related product and a bunch of already available CRM products. That also was of course doomed to fail..
The cream that joined, fooled by the “start up” experience have all left within a year. Those still working are the sludge that settled to the bottom and cannot move from their own laziness plus that no one else wants them.
Being screamed at in the worse possible way is a daily routine which is followed by both the senior directors. This is then followed down the ranks by the product managers. You will loose your self respect and self worth in a few days after joining here.
Stay away, unless you want your mental balance destroyed
