Pros

I've had a really positive experience working here. The company culture is quite relaxed, and there's a high level of trust across the organization. One thing I appreciate is that people are given ownership of their work rather than being constantly monitored or micromanaged. You're trusted to get the job done, which creates a healthy and motivating work environment. The work-life balance has been great in my experience, especially within my team. My manager has been incredibly supportive from day one. I joined as an intern with no prior industry experience, but she believed in me, invested time in helping me learn, and has always been mindful of maintaining a good balance between work and personal life. She's approachable, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. Being an AI-focused startup is another major advantage. You get exposure to an industry that's growing rapidly, and because the company is still scaling, there are plenty of opportunities to learn and take on responsibilities that might take years to access elsewhere. The company has been growing steadily, with new people joining regularly, which is always a positive sign. As a Consumer Insights Specialist, I've had the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects and industries - from quantitative to qualitative research, and from alcohol brands to mattress companies. Unlike larger organizations where roles can become highly specialized and limited, I've been able to get involved in multiple stages of projects and develop a much broader skill set. The founder is approachable and down to earth. There's no unnecessary hierarchy or "boss culture." Overall, the people are friendly, supportive, and create a genuinely positive atmosphere. I have good, fun relationship with people from other departments too.

Cons

The internship/trainee period may not suit everyone. The company typically hires freshers and less experienced candidates as interns or trainees before converting them to permanent roles based on performance. While this system works well for people who are eager to learn and prove themselves, some may find the initial uncertainty challenging.

Pros

I spent more than four years at Entropik, and overall it's been a really solid experience. The product has a lot of potential, especially in the AI and consumer insights space, which makes the work feel meaningful. The people are definitely one of the best parts. Teams are collaborative, helpful, and easy to work with. It never felt overly political, and there was always someone willing to support or brainstorm ideas. I also had the chance to go onsite, which was a big plus. It helped me grow both professionally and personally. Working with different teams, exploring new places, and seeing how things operate globally really broadened my perspective. The CTO is someone I genuinely respect. He is approachable, open to listening, and does not rely on top down decision making. He focuses on doing the right thing and gives people space to think and contribute. Beyond handling both technology and teams effectively, one of his biggest strengths is hiring. He brought in many talented individuals who made the overall experience even better. I do feel that retaining more of these people for longer would have made a significant difference.

Cons

Over the last year or so, with changes in leadership, there has been a gradual shift in the work culture. There is now more emphasis on structured timings, closer oversight, and tighter control across teams, including over leadership layers. While this brings more alignment and discipline, it has also reduced some of the flexibility and ownership teams previously experienced. At times, there is pressure to meet faster timelines and tighter deadlines, which, while understandable from a business perspective Additionally, during transition phases, there is an opportunity to be more empathetic and flexible, especially around notice periods. Exit experiences are important and should ideally be smooth and positive, but there have been instances where this could be improved.
