Pros

Flexible work life balance, great peers.

Cons

Entura lacks leadership and opportunities for junior staff and women. Management put their own interests before their staff. There is a large turnover due poor workplace culture and opportunities for promotion. Most work comes from internally consulting within their parent company. Don’t expect an introduction within the office or between teams and don’t expect a farewell.

Pros

Most employees are committed to and passionate about the work they do. Senior staff are highly experienced. The nature of the work is noble.

Cons

Authoritarian executive leadership who can’t be trusted. No long-term vision or aspirations. Limited resources and support available. The limited technology is outdated, systems are primitive and manual, and there’s practically no support for innovation. Lip service is given to health, safety, environment and quality. Favouritism for training, development and opportunities. Parent company, Hydro Tasmania, has very little regard for Entura's needs.
