Not a great place to work

Pros

Set schedule everyday, every week 8-5.

Cons

Poor pay, you will make more per hour working fast food. Poor management. Poor atmosphere, if you did not grow up and/or still live in Antioch, Brentwood, or Oakley you are treated as an outsider. Co-workers (even during training) will withhold information to make themselves seem more valuable. If you clock IN more than 3-4 minutes late you are docked a full 15 minutes in pay, but if you clock OUT late at all you are marked as if clocking out on time. I've never worked in a place where doctors are permitted to treat you without respect until this office.

Pros

Smart, caring nurses; smart, caring doctors; beautiful offices and infusion clinics; always hiring nurses.

Cons

1) Hourly wage for Oncology Certified RN is around $45/hour. 2) RNs have to get prior authorizations for medications. this is remarkable time-consuming and something I have never done in the other two outpatient infusion centers I've worked in over the last 10 years. 3) Sometimes a pharmacy technician mixes your chemotherapy, sometimes not. It just depends on which office is busiest. 3) EPIC has more offices than staff so patients and nurses are sometimes asked to go to other offices temporarily.
