Decent pay and support, but VERY high turnover and stress
Pros
Pay, benefits, decent support team ready to help when in need.
Cons
If you get a job here, start looking for another immediately, most don't last more than three months, before I was fired, half my training class was fired. Other workers who lasted a while say the same about theirs. The entire time I was there I was incredibly stressed about this and it ruined my performance. Every day was an incredible struggle because of outside factors interfering with work flow. I was fired for running over a small tree stump in a yard with no driveway (causing no damage to the van) and because the back up camera was broken. (Though I believe it was already broken because it was somewhat blurry when I got in for my shift, still, to be fair, I could have reported it then, but I just assumed that was how that van was, since all of the company's vans have one issue or another). It was also really demoralizing to work so hard every day, sprinting through stops, searching for houses in the boondocks of east Florida, and coughing dirt because the air flow in some vans was poor, just to get back to the station to be talked to about minor mistakes. Also, oftentimes you will get cut from work for a day if you make one mistake the day before, I rarely had time to take breaks on my route, and I often just worked 10 hour straight shifts because of the mounds of packages I got levelled with daily. There is also next to no opportunities for advancement, so again, don't think this job is a long term solution for you.
