Pros

Do not work here you will be over worked and under appreciated.

Cons

I have never worked with a company that micromanages so much. Especially when the manager was known to not do their own job. You are also not allowed to take certain week days off. If you wanted to take a Tuesday off you would also have to take that Monday off. Management is making rules up and HR is not doing anything about it. Management has all accused multiple employees of lying when they are not. There is also customer surveys about you, if the customer doesn’t like their instrument they will take it out on the survey and you will get in trouble for it.

Pros

Hiring like crazy with no future strategy in place.

Cons

Their current situation requires strong change management skills which do not exist at all. Where is this company headed to? Currently facing strong headwinds from many directions with very little strategy and plans in place how to tackle. Very poor leadership skills globally and in EMEA. HR may want to take a closer look at what’s really going on.

Pros

Good hard working people at the Portsmouth site

Cons

Epredia has no clue as to what they are doing.  The Portsmouth site is doomed.  Each site functioned well individually for years, but for some reason one site thought they were in charge and no one stopped them from being the bully of all the other sites.  Management spent hundreds of thousands of dollars (and over a year of multiple employees time) working on a new QMS software, only to decide that it was too expensive.  A cutting edge medical company that can't afford a QMS system?  This is just one example of how Epredia has no clue as to what they are doing or what they want to do.  All that money wasted on a system that they now plan on getting rid of.  If you are looking for a stable, long term company, Epredia Portsmouth is NOT it. They have had numorous layoffs (restructuring as they call it) getting rid of the more senior employees and replacing them with younger ones (that they can pay less money to).  If you are looking for short term employement to gain experience, this company may work for you, but don't plan on a career here.  What company "restructures" by getting rid of 40+ year employees?!  But remember, this is a foreign holding company that owns Epredia.  Cutting costs typically happens right before a sell off, to make the numbers look good.  There is no good reason to work here when they treat their employees with such disregard.  Do yourself a favor and avoid this company!
