Pros

Central location, free parking, close to highway

Cons

The COO exhibits manipulative behavior and lacks real estate expertise. Despite claiming to want a drama-free work environment, she is often at the center of workplace issues. It’s rare for any employee to stay longer than two years under her leadership. She seems to enjoy either terminating staff or creating an environment that pressures them into resigning. While she initially presents herself as someone who is committed to improving processes, even her own team struggles with documentation. When employees choose to leave, she unfairly places the blame on them for problems caused by her and the ownership. She has a way of misleading new hires to garner sympathy. The company’s values, unfortunately, do not align with its actions and, in fact, often reflect the opposite. The company does not offer competitive market pay, and bonuses have not been distributed since 2021, even as of 2024. Vendors often experience delayed payments, and the company operates by shifting funds from one obligation to cover another. I personally witnessed an instance where an insurance claim was paid directly to Equity, but despite the vendor completing the work on time with high-quality results, Equity failed to pay them.

Pros

-some good staff level employees -patio to work on -rarely work weekends -wathens are nice people -good about hiring older people and pregnant women -potlucks, office parties, about to have a 35 year event

Cons

-unprofessional/dishonest management (witnessed management openly talking poorly about staff to staff members. Heard about instance of two management members in the same department refusing to speak to each other. Another management member spread hurtful rumors about another mgmt person) -hostile environment sometimes (walking on eggshells) -lots of gossip/smack talk/arguments (witnessed an actual shouting fight between a member of management and an employee in the office and there were no repercussions) -HIGH turnover (good people leave quickly) -no competitive pay -low professional standards, poor work quality -very little room for career growth -weird about people taking PTO or lunch breaks -HR head talks about lewd subjects in casual and formal HR conversations When I put in my notice, a surprising number of employees went up to me to tell me they have been dying to leave the company and were actively looking for other jobs. Made me sad to see a lot of my work friends take the work conditions personally.

Pros

Easy to get to corporate office. There is work-out space and equipment in the Hilliard location. Some people really care and try to help.

Cons

The owner and majority of "leadership" lack integrity. The owner is committed to lining his personal pocket but has no interest in giving back to the employees. He can't be bothered to speak to the majority of the people and when he does it is not genuine. The turnover for the company is ridiculous but no work is done to better the culture. There is arrogance that people are expendable. No real money is put to training employees. People are often berated and most want to find new jobs. The pay is standard and there is no bonus program.
