      Tough culture and cost cuts at plants

      Pros

      Many exciting projects with the opportunity to be involved in and develop expertise. Freedom in the job, Workhours are good, Better chance of thriving if you enjoy working alone but able to communicate with different personality types and cultures.

      Cons

      Big workload with not enough time to become knowledgeable in all subjects (lack of people?). Limited teamwork and lack of mentors, Cost cutting at local plants = larger workload locally and more demands from headquarters. Little flexibility to adapt the job to fit employee.

      Very diverse culturally with more than 5 countries represented in a team of 12 Maintenance Managers. Very flexible way of working

      Cons

      Frequent international trips (Gabon, Senegal, Norway) of 3 weeks. Living conditions in Senegal & Gabon are rudimentary.
