Great work/life balance. High amounts of PTO offered over time.
Cons
Very limited advancement opportunities, education is not valued, employer doesn't match any contributions to Roth 401K through State Farm, health benefits are affordable for families, high-deductible health plan, you can expect holiday bonuses under $100 regardless of your position, poorly managed.
Everyone in management is related, lots of instances where nepotism is clearly evident. Pay is poor, CEO only cared about making himself a buck and now that the company has been bought out, profit is even more important. You will make half as much at Eric Ryan that you would at any other respectable similar company. There is lots of negativity and inappropriate behavior here. If you’re not related to someone in management you better look elsewhere or you’re going to have a rough time. There really isn’t much room for advancement unless you luck out with a supervisor or you’re related to someone in management. Seriously.
