Pros

There are some wonderful people working at ECD. None of them are in upper management.

Cons

Employees are not enabled to make any decisions. Incompetent, micro-management and dishonest upper management is the pervasive theme. Promises will be made but will never come to fruition. The group of companies are a shell game and ECD is the cash cow that keeps them afloat. Even their "made in the America" claim is false. Many of products their products are shipped from China. It is a toxic atmosphere with huge turnover. Sadly management seems to take that as a source of pride. If being yelled at, cursed, treated horribly and having no potential for advancement is your thing, this is the place for you. There were instances when disgruntled former production workers showed up with weapons. You'd expect news like that would be shared and security would be hired but these selfish folks swept these incidents under the rug.

Pros

Free product Really cool office environment Monthly gathering with snacks offered Opportunity to appear on company's social media pages Open door policy

Cons

Weird office culture- you need to play nice with the grandfathered employees Little to no turnover, and not for good reasons Tiny parking lot HR sides with grandfathered female employees Limited room for growth unless you fit a specific profile A lot of employees are related to or dating a relative of a grandfathered employee You need to be able to tolerate strong verbal communication towards you and your team You need thick skin to navigate the office politics

Pros

Great products Nice perks Decent benefits

Cons

-Toxic environment -Pay is not competitive -Little to no room for growth -POLITICAL, arrogant leaders -HR is not HR- extremely unprofessional and good friends with select employees, leaking personal and confidential information Things were great back when Erin actually used to care about her employees. Once it started growing, she struggled to scale the business, stopped listening to her employees, and lost all personal touches that once made working for the brand special. There is no culture and it’s all a “show” on social media.
