Unfortunately, all of this is completely made void by the atrocious management, led by a CEO who not only is completely clueless on how to properly lead his team, but managed to burn through the entire seed round acquired in 2018 without giving the company a proper direction.
On top of that, his rude, aggressive personality alienated most employees - which ended up with a bunch of people leaving (my case) - as well as potential business partners. Current employees (with whom I maintain frequent contact with) are also very dissatisfied but in these hard times, they don't want to risk upsetting a volatile CEO, so they simply have no choice but to stand up with everything he does.
Finally, the CEO brought in his girlfriend at the start of 2019 - initially to help with Biz Dev. She however "surprisingly" quickly grew inside the company, and is know considered a "Co-founder" (despite the company itself having been founded in 2016). He also brought his mother to manage finances and HR...
Overall, a complete mess of a company, and I feel for so many talent people stuck under the paws of a tyrant.
