Zero work life balance

Pros

WFH, so they can't literally stand behind u in a cubicle and micromanage. Some knowledgeable people in mid management.

Cons

No structure in any division. They will start off with a defined job role, then change it. Then they'll add small things, one thing at a time every 2 weeks so u don't notice your workload increasing. Then they'll complain and threaten. HRs don't care other than to wish happy birthday. Can't reach out for help. Salary is poor, work is 3 times that. U r good if you're available 24 hours, and if u draw the line, u r ungrateful or irresponsible, even if u diligently work for 9 hours straight and log out. No scope for social life, and if u do go out after work hours, they ask why are u always out. It felt like they owned us for merely 30-35k a month. Knowledge of a sport doesn't help coz they hire and put u in divisions that need writers or editors because the sport u know "is full" of writers and editors who don't know the sport. Editors make the articles so boring. They say be creative, then rip apart all scopes of creativity. Very discouraging environment. Social media division was the worst of them all. Dictatorship comes to mind. They even force to write good reviews.

Pros

Mmmm.. Good training was provided

Cons

This company is a complete nightmare. They have zero leave policy—no public or national holidays, which is blatantly illegal. They only communicate through WhatsApp. I joined here as an editor, but they shoved me into a writer’s role just 5 days in, knowing I had no sports background. Repeatedly told HR I needed time, but, of course, they ignored it. And guess what? No PF, no insurance, no job security, no proper leave policy—just a mess of constant miscommunication, with different editors telling you different things. I've had 2-3 articles published in just 15 days, but they still won’t pay me because I’m in their so-called “training period.” They don’t even give you an offer letter before joining, so you’re basically hanging on empty promises. The notice period? Depends on their mood, apparently! HR said it varies person to person but wouldn’t even tell me what mine would be until after joining. Total fraud. No mental peace, no professionalism. Be warned—avoid this place at all costs!

Pros

Being Work From Home can be a Pro.

Cons

They have group heads, those group heads are supposed to assign work to writers, they do not have any idea of what they are doing or any sense of responsibility. They waste everyone's time and vanish for hours. The worst part is, the two Esports group heads are just plain illiterate, it is astounding they got jobs here. And then they have editors, this company publishes over 200 articles daily, and it appears that no two editors have the same guidelines. Everyone is just going about their own way. They have a set of rules, but you as a writer have to make them aware of stuff, and sometimes just because they do not understand the English that you have written, they ask you to make changes. No, leave policy, you don't have leaves, you don't have bonuses, and it is 6 days working pretty much 12 hours a day. So you are just expected to be a slave to them. They say you get a day off when you want, but no, you can work day in and day out, and still, they would pester you over a single leave.
