You're lucky if you're in a good team with competent managers.

Cons

Some managers abuse their power and treat non-seniors disrespectfully. One person does several people's jobs with no pay rise, and you will get gaslighting from them if you try to have it. They provide no real support other than surface level so they can dodge any legal issues
