Pros

The CTO has a considerable amount of relevant knowledge and the investor is pretty well involved

Cons

Oh boy, where do we begin. 1. The CEO just likes to talk big and has absolutely no knowledge about running a company and how to behave with employees. To him, his employees are basically slaves who should follow every whim and fancy of his, however stupid it is. 2. Regular work hours are 12 hours a day from 10am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and even after that you have to take permission to leave; permission which in a lot of instances will be denied. 3. I was moving to a new apartment and they were unwilling to let me take the day off for it. 4. Salary is absolutely bogus and it took forever and a million phone calls to get my last paycheck once I quit 5. It gets pretty hot in Bangalore. Working around assembly and manufacturing, this tiny basement office gets insanely hot and they have one stand fan for each room which is not enough for the number of people in the rooms, all the while the CEO and CTO sit in their office with the door closed and a cooler just for their luxury. 6. The CEO, Kaushik is an absolutely pathetic person to work with. 7. Unfortunately the engineering scenario in India is really bad so there are a lot of desperate undergrads looking for jobs and once you get stuck in this hell hole, finding another one is still difficult and you'll be trapped. Trust me, being unemployed is better than working here. 8. The CEO is completely clueless of what they are building. Watch their youtube video. He keeps calling the 5-axis machine a 5-Dimensional printer. 9. The CEO has written some book too. Read it. It's like a child has written it. 10. The working conditions are honestly not worth the terrible wage you receive. Even getting an experience certificate from them is next to impossible. So really, what are you gonna get from working there. 11. CEO's idea of innovation is finding loopholes in patents of other products and building something very similar and applying for IP rights to that. 12. 1 is the lowest star rating possible. I would have given a zero to all.

Pros

Working here for more than 2 years, here are my few pros about EM: 1. Being in award winning company (quite few times) gives you no room for error, but EM doesn't held back from doing what you think is best as long as you prove you can make competent decisions. 2. Lots of things to learn. Many opportunities for learning/professional growth, and can even gain cross-role experience if have time to help with other projects. 3. Open & honest communication is encouraged. 4. Great team of management, employees. 5. Would have stayed if it wasn't for personal reasons.

Cons

1. Location, only if you stay far. 2. Employees politics take places few times.

Pros

Very good people but very blunt. They are straight forward about the work, if they don't like then the say it before you finish. Every month there is office lunce where you meet all the employees and have food together. Nice work

Cons

Too much work but that's how you learn. I left the company because I had to stay with my family and my health issues but if not I would never leave this company.
