Pros

Office space is nicer than most.

Cons

Worked for the company when it was called Timberhorn. Managment are good old boys who drink in the office most days while watching youtube and golf videos. Management are related to each other or worked at prior companies forming a tight click. Only a place for recruiters who skate by using indian sub firms. Real recruting doesnt happen as the office is about quantity not quality. Workplace can be hostile and the locker room atmosphere is not good for women. Managment points fingers at others instead of themselves. Sales team brings in low margin, low pay orders.

Poor professional experience

Pros

Everyone is very friendly initially. Team at Corporate can be very helpful and approachable. They have good intentions to try and improve their training programs.

Cons

Promoting recruiters into sales roles with minimal experience, some right out of college - not only is it stressful for those inexperienced but stressful on recruiters as the untrained sales professionals do not know how to acquire new business, let alone break into a new market. Felt like my recruitment team was promised the business would be coming, yet we had multiple recruiters working on the same job, overlapping onto the same candidates. Management can be very unprofessional - racist, sexist, inappropriate (managers flirting with recruiters), etc. It's not an environment that challenges you/develops you as a career person - it's just a burn and turn business. We had multiple covid outbreaks in our office, yet they still wanted to keep having us come in and work. Managers and staff would not wear masks consistently and get in your personal space.

Pros

• ~ 6 month window of continued benefits • Impressive initial leadership meeting as relayed to front line staff by middle managers.

Cons

• Significant changes in terms of employment for career consultants (with little or no notice, depending upon situation) • Significant decrease in benefits after 6 months • Poor understanding of business line, unwillingness to learn (Senior Mgmt) • Absence of senior management, including when delivering 'bad' news • Staged distribution of bonuses due, not fully paid until ~60 days late. • No cohesive or meaningful corporate strategy to address traveling staff during the early days of the covid-19 pandemic, leaving staff and families vulnerable.
