Pros

Coffee machine and good parking

Cons

Be warned of lots of drama and conflict. Pres thinks they can talk there way out of anything, but all see through the smoke. Just watch and see, there will be some excuse for this review. No accountability either, some people hardly work while some can’t even do their job but been there decades and it starts from the very top. Hostility was at least out in the open years ago and easily dealt with. Now it’s all behind the curtain and if you ain’t liked, you in trouble. Many are frustrated, but most scared to speak up. Lots of people stick around just because they are lazy, not because they love it there. Low pay, but job was cake.

No company is perfect but Eurokera is a great employer

Pros

I have worked at many companies, and some are Fortune 500 companies. Eurokera was very different because they truly have demonstrated to me that they truly care about their employees. Despite the various changes in management from the top down, they try to keep the culture the same. I have been with them over 10 years and it is why I stay. The people I work with are my friends and family and together we all work to take care of our customers.

Cons

It is a small company and relatively flat. There has been movement to do more career paths for mobility and the company does promote from within. Some of the managers and supervisors started on the floor. The turnover in the last year has been higher than in the past but the local job market is now more competitive. They are not the highest paying company but the benefits are the best I have had anywhere especially the insurance plan.

Pros

Company offers very inexpensive health insurance benefits.

Cons

After initial job offer is accepted, the new employee is wined and dined every day for two weeks, you are given the "we are one big happy family" speech during the interview and on-boarding. Afterwards, you really get a taste of what people there are really like. Some of the folks are really, really good people. Other people (unfortunately in managerial roles) could not function in other organizations, because other organizations would not foster such a rancid environment. If you can embrace the "we've always done it like that" point of view, by all means, this is the place for you. However, I learned very quickly after I started to work there although the company touts they have never had lay-offs...technically, they have never had INVOLUNTARY lay-offs. Next, they tout their retention rate. When I resigned today, I was probably the 34th +/- direct employee who had resigned in 2016. This should tell you something about the company. And the wages are about equal to compensation from the 1990s. I knew I had made a huge mistake when my neighbor asked me where I was working and I shared with him where I was so happy to be working when I initially on-boarded. He worked in HR and Training in manufacturing for 20+ years in the Fountain Inn / Simpsonville area and he quickly pointed out the poor reputation the company has in the community for high turnover. Something I certainly wish I knew prior to the "Smoke and Mirrors" show. Run, don' t walk, away from this place.
