Pros
Joining European Recruitment with no office experience, I left 5 years later as part of the management team. The key element for me would be the responsibility which is entrusted to employees from the beginning, the director really believes in the development of his staff and encourages career progression whilst promoting a healthy work-life balance, something I feel puts them ahead of their competitors. Throughout the years I spent at the company, I saw it go from strength to strength. There were many changes which were suggested by employees of all levels and implemented by management which has created a great culture. David and Ed give all employees the backing to succeed, leaving them with skills that are valuable not only to the company, but transferable to any career ahead.
They have a very competitive benefits package, one of the best commission structures in the area and take the whole company away on holidays when team targets are met. The mantra of enjoying work is so important to everyone and the team feels almost like a family with everyone also being friends outside of work which really creates a great vibe in the office.
Cons
No organisation is perfect and European Recruitment is no exception – but they are certainly trying to be!
