Pros

The company is well organized and very considerate and respectful of the entire workforce from top to bottom. They pay well, pay on time, and have a fairly large number of interesting projects.

Cons

This is not a criticism specifically of Sonnier & Castle, but of most companies: Management is not GREAT at managing, and they tend to not be aware of what capabilities and potentials are within the ranks of their employees. I say that it is typical of companies because I wrote articles many years ago concerning employer approaches to the workforce. Years ago, in banking, regional and local businesses, they were invested in their existing workforce - once labor began to off-shore, the residual effects trickled down from large companies to small companies - all with the attitude that employees are interchangeable and can be easily replaced. Companies used to invest in employee education and return-to-school programs, they don't anymore. While this does not pertain specifically to Sonnier & Castle, the inability of management to identify the interests, qualities and abilities of employees exists. Knowing names does not count.

Pros

If you're a hard worker and you demand your worth, you can go pretty far.

Cons

Some favoritism, you sort of have to ingratiate yourself to the higher-ups, but that's pretty standard.
