Pros

boxing and mma is a fun market to work in. a lot of good contacts, always fast moving, wear many hats and get a lot of good experience for junior level role. leadership is good, most care about people. work environment is good

Cons

pay is lower than market value not a lot of room for title growth. not a lot of turnover at manager and above level so not many opportunities for promotions benefits aren't great but usable no opportunities to work from home ever and that is the standard now archaic schedule. can't adjust hours or glide schedules.

Pros

There are very small pockets of good company culture Some very OK perks for the squeaky wheel (i.e. fights/events/product input/ product testing)

Cons

1. The overall company culture (every single person besides upper management is treated as replaceable) 2. No, and I mean ZERO, cohesiveness between departments. Teams sit a few feet away from each other and DO NOT communicate. 3. This may be the biggest issue: absolutely NO true leadership. Since the CEO Neil Morton left the entire direction of the company was multiple “chiefs” pulling in opposite directions of each other and every single one of them going nowhere fast...4. NO training for next or chance to grow into new opportunities. The lowest of ceilings possible to get to but impossible to advance above the ceiling. I left the company after 3 years with almost the identical skill set and knowledge I walked in with. The entire “sales team” are spoon fed account managers - no one is an actual hunter, just gatherers. 5. Last but not least - the turnover rate. In my 3 years at Everlast I watched more than 17, EXTREMELY talented people leave the company. Including the CEO of 9 years. The turnover rate is so bad that it is a running joke at Everlast. And the current “COO” has a “low level employees always leave - we’re Everlast so we’ll always get good talent because everyone wants to work for us” mentality.

Pros

Good mix of age range, small office

Cons

upper management can't manage employees properly, no work-life balance, dying brands no one cares to know about anymore, mice in the office, frat house, pay sucks , don't think you'll get a raise here at all. Unless things have changed since 2012 which I doubt, company has no money, no bonuses, they don't care about their employees, they have that "anyone is replaceable" mentality.
