Pros

Unlimited PTO, the perks, some of the people.

Cons

The CEO is not the man is pretends to be in front of the camera or on stage. The company is full of nepotism and favoritism, full of friends and family of the CEO's inner circle. The company has a zero tolerance for mistakes firing policy that is not applied fairly. Managers are encouraged to fire people to keep other employees on their toes! I've witnessed some of the "friends of the CEO" that have done some major HR/legal violations that should have gotten them fired yet are still there and I've witnessed good, solid and smart people be fired for petty and minor stuff that most companies wouldn't have blinked an eye over. It comes down to if It was once a fun place to work, but success has gone to the heads of some of the leaders. Lots of good people have left, have been leaving or are looking to leave. The culture used to be something worthy of a novel, it was once amazing, but they failed to maintain this as the leadership lost sight of its core product and focus.

Pros

Lots of good and smart people, perks, snacks, coffee bar, tea-time and treats.

Cons

During the All Hands meeting this week, you addressed the reviews on this website. You indicated that they weren't true. Lots of staff have been discussing these reviews this past week, so I came to the site to read them for myself. I was taken back by many of the reviews , but what people are saying is true! There is a clear and repeated pattern to most of the reviews. Are you in denial of reality Phil? Why did you lie to us? You spin the truth into your opinion or version of reality. You really ARE the person you admitted to all of us during the meeting but many of us are NOT convinced you will change! Many of the managers in your circle are just like you and the words you used to describe yourself. They too need to change! If you do change, it will be short lived and then you will return to being the person you said you think you may be. You asked us to come talk to you or reach out to you regarding some of these issues.. sadly many of us DO NOT feel comfortable reaching out to you or to HR! We fear for our jobs. You have fostered an environment where there is tremendous fear and lack of trust mostly because of the high turnover, its hard to deny, we all have seen it. It is heart breaking to see so many good people walking out or being walked out. It is also sad that your ego refuses to allow you to admit there might be merit to these reviews.

A once very happy employee who was let down

Pros

I cannot say enough incredible things about the employees at this company. Everyone is so smart, passionate, humble, supportive, social, friendly, the list goes on. I learned a great deal at this company from extremely bright individuals and will forever appreciate what they have done for me. The benefits are just an added plus with the open PTO, fitness & wellness perks, and daily catered lunches. I loved this place dearly.

Cons

Simply put, leadership at the top is spiraling downward. I once believed in the direction things were going, but about 6 months in I started finding that many of the harsh reviews on here to be true. The way it's leader makes brash and impulsive decisions without considering the other execs thoughts or opinions, the lack of knowledge on what's happening in certain areas of the company. The nepotism and favoritism. The sudden, yearly layoffs that continue to get worse each time. I slowly became more and more afraid of what would happen to myself after so much hard work and dedication — it was not enough to survive the latest cut.
