Pros

Co-workers/ clinic staff has a family feel, but all these people have left due to upper management. So no more family feel.

Cons

Co-workers/ clinic staff has a family feel, upper management separates themselves from clinic staff and claims to have open door policy. Open door policy to this company means if you come up stairs with a problem, you will more than likely leave feeling you MUST find a different job and/or you have put your job in major jeopardy.

I am truly sorry for your experience. The upper management is truly trying hard to support our team in every way we can. Our company has made many changes in hopes of adjusting to an ever changing healthcare environment. Our program is faced with a lot of challenges due to funding cuts while facing increased expenses. We unfortunately have had team members that have also taken advantage of situations which has cost the company a lot of money. We are dedicated to our team in trying to provide an environment of transparency and working together to make a better tomorrow.

Pros

ECA really cares about the services they provide and the employees that deliver or help deliver these services. ECA provides a family atmosphere and shows that each and every team member is important to the growth of the company. ECA listens to their employees and is always trying to improve the company culture.

Cons

Having employees in the field, communication can be difficult at times; this unfortunately is the nature of our business. I know ECA is constantly trying to improve communication to all their team members, especially those that work in the field.

Thank you so much for your amazing review and great feedback! We value this information and are in the process of working on an EMR system in hopes that this can improve our communication channels with our therapists in the field. Thank you for all you do and know that your feedback is so valuable for us!

Authentically, we are disappointed to hear that you had a bad experience with ECA. We truly strive to create one of the most valuable and supportive environments. We take extra time in our interview process to help showcase the journey in our organization, and ensure it is a fit with each candidate. We believe in transparency and authenticity. The majority of our team have been within our organization for over 10 years and many have been with ECA for 15+ and some over 20. For your reference, our HR Director, Scott Booher is not in any way related to ownership and has been with our organization for over 10 years and one of the most valued support terminals for our staff. We also have Clinical Leadership that have been with our organization for over 10 years that support the therapists. Our clinical leadership and case management gets involved whenever there is a parent dispute and our goal is just to gather facts and support creating solutions. We truly value our therapists and our goal is to always bring the most supportive approach possible. One of the strengths of our organization is that we have a staff both clinical and case management that have been in place for a long time but we understand that limits growth for new employees which is why we are extremely transparent in our hiring process that our goal is to identify therapists that want to truly be therapists. We have opportunities for them to mentor others, lead education, etc. In addition, our therapists are the highest paid for our organization so from a financial standpoint, the compensation growth is all tied to delivery of care. We try to attract employees that are passionate, purposeful and delivery of therapy is what fills their bucket. We hire employees with a clear vision for what their career looks like within our organization. It is disappointing to see that we were not able to get your clear goals outlined during our interview process otherwise our hope would be that we could have made sure your goals were attainable. We are sad that we did not have this chance to have conversations with you about your goals and that ultimately we were not the right fit for your journey. We do however wish you nothing but the best!
