Pros

Vibrant, trendy office. Fast-paced. Great cafe in the building lobby.

Cons

Lack of empathy for employee needs and/or situations. Very poor communication. Managing Director works remotely and is only available via phone or email, which he often hides behind, refusing to address people or situations directly.

The work is often interesting and stimulating Many coworkers are genuinely nice people and a pleasure to work with Pleasant office, if not necessarily conducive to the productivity the company demands Lots of snacks

Cons

Virtually every project, at every stage, involves compressed work schedules and non-negotiable deadlines. Extreme emphasis on speed leads to compromises in quality; problems arising in late development lead to "fire drills" and intra-team drama and fingerpointing. Late hours (and I mean late) and weekend work (not occasional-- regular) push the work-life balance way toward work. Granted, some people enjoy and even thrive in this kind of atmosphere. It helps a lot if you're single and childless. However, I saw considerable turnover in some departments, with unreasonable deadlines and impact on family/personal life cited as reasons.
