Pros

There are no pros besides working from home if you are outside of the South Africa, India, or Madagascar territory.

Cons

This has been one of the worse experiences I have had in my entire career. This company doesn't have any core values, and employees are treated like animals. The two owners don't have a backbone, and they believe that everyone should work practically for free. Employees don't get paid well. Nearly most of them are underpaid and taking advantage of. Excis doesn't offer a medical, pension, or other benefits outside of those countries that medical or annuity will be mandatory. Besides, managers have little knowledge and almost no skills that could help ease the workload and know little about several countries' rules, so asking questions is unacceptable. Owners and the Group Financial Controller are so good at blaming others for their lack of knowledge or initiative when you bring an issue. They don't listen to your concerns about potential problems, so when things go wrong, they will blame you for that, like it is your fault for the lack of attention. The HR department is another fiasco at Excis. It is managed by the VP of Humane Resources, which clearly means she doesn't know how to manage HR globally. Excis is doing business in over 47 countries, and no one knows how to even correctly hire a new employee. It seems that HR is being served at the South Africa and Belgium teams. So this means that they have no idea about employee rights in most countries outside of these two countries and the UK, where the main office is located. Excis HR thinks they can just apply the employment rights based on the UK labor rules. This company doesn't have any processes or policies that could help you deal with certain situations you might encounter. So, don't be surprised if you don't get paid on time or if they screw you over with your final wages at the end of your employment. Most of the time, the management team believes they can just get away without paying employees correctly. In the worst-case scenario, they come up with crazy rules to avoid paying the employee final vacation days or final wages correctly at the end of their employment. I don't understand how this company is still doing business. Excis has gotten several issues in different countries for not doing things correctly. They are unethical and mediocre to the point that the two owners asked employees to submit good reviews on here to lie about the company's situation and deceive future employees. They asked employees to present a good review here because all former employees kept venting to prevent others from living the same nightmare. There is nothing good about working for Excis, so do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. It is a waste of time, and you'll be treated poorly and yell for things that happened 1 to 5 years before you even joined the company.
