Pros

Interesting technical challenges and an opportunity to work across multiple systems and platforms. Some talented individuals on the team.

Cons

Roles expand significantly without any adjustment in compensation, staffing, or resources. Employees are routinely expected to work weekends and late nights with no accommodation. Performance reviews and promised compensation discussions are delayed indefinitely or never happen. The turnover rate is extremely high — dozens of employees, directors, and even board members have departed. Rather than examine the conditions driving turnover, leadership tends to discredit those who leave. A colleague was formally written up after missing a weekend work event due to a family medical emergency, which says a lot about the culture.
