Adequate staff benefits. There is performance bonus and 13 month bonus. Many personal development opportunities are available.
Cons
Work exigencies may require staff to end work late at times. Appraisal is stressful as performance is based on a bell curve.

As a company that develops drugs, there is an expected level of challenge and stress that staff must expect to overcome. Performance appraisals may be stressful as A*STAR uses a bell curve to rank performance, meaning that there will inevitably be some staff that may end up on the bottom end of the spectrum.
