I wouldn't recommend, better catering agencies out there (I'll list below)

Pros

Choose work times (if any available) Going up and down stairs constantly, so a lot of cardio. Quit your gym membership

Cons

Work you to the bone Never show event end times Constantly reminded of being easily replaceable, even after working for years Pick up pay checks in person downtown Manhattan every Friday from 11 - 4 strictly (no direct deposit) Bootcamp like captains Pay out of pocket for the uniform Only feeds you re heated pasta Can't take extra food home No tips accepted. All event gratuity goes to Cipriani, not Exquisite Being in the hospitality industry for years, I'd recommend instead HMG+, Restuarant Associates, Union Square Events, At Your Service, Guastavinos, Tapuz. These agencies are overall more well rounded & friendly.

Pros

Management is kind and helpful. Coworkers are the same for the most part. There is always someone moody or with a chip on their shoulder in both categories but mostly they’re just fine. It is quite clicky and there is a lot of sucking up to captains….. if like me, you show up on time , prepared with a pressed uniform and positive outlook and do your job your good.

Cons

Depending on the location worked, the captains can be really stressed out. Your coworkers can be catty and make trouble. And the higher up’s can ban you from a location and flag you without warning or reason. Extremely disappointing and unfair.
