Pros

Free snacks, generous pto policy if you can manage to take time off

Cons

50 hour weeks are the bare minimum during the "quiet" season. During Renewal, which is the height of summer, 80 hour weeks are the normal,. There is absolutely no chance at work life balance if you work here. Company has generous time off but If you dare take it your life will be a living hell trying to recover when you get back. Company is going back to 3 days in the office and acting like the employees should be grateful. There is a ridiculous amount of turnover. Anyone who actually does their job realizes pretty quick that is not the way to get ahead here and they leave.

Thank you for your feedback and I do apologize that you don't have the desired job satisfaction in your current or former role. We have always been a very fast paced organization with peak seasons but do support time off to allow employees to reset. In addition to this, we also support many corporate events to make this an environment that is not just all work. As a business we are increasing our hybrid work environment from 2 days to 3 days which adds in a common day for all employees to collaborate. With a service organization it is important to have this level of collaboration which may be lost when interactions are only in video conferencing. While some businesses support fully remote organizations, we are finding more and more companies are moving to hybrid and even a full work week in office. There are many missed learning and development opportunities when a service company like ours is fully remote. If you are a current employee, anyone from the management team would welcome a discussion in line with our open door policy. ExtensisHR's turnover ratio still remains lower than industry average but it is something we are focused on to better aid our staff and our clients alike. The PEO environment is very fast paced.

Pros

Free snacks, decent benefit options and 401k.

Cons

Turnover is terrible so you are constantly carrying too many clients at once. Too many directors that do not listen and don't understand the work. They advertise work-life balance but it's not realistic with the workload.

I want to thank you for providing feedback. As an ever-growing organization, we rely on employee opinions. It is unfortunate that you haven’t take the opportunity to express your concerns to management as we do listen and react to feedback on multiple platforms inclusive of our open-door policy. Average turnover for all industries has been increasing as the unemployment rate runs low. Our rate is currently under the national and PEO average, however, like all businesses, we are subject to employees leaving for new opportunities, while others leave due to their performance. While we do have peak business cycles, we do care about our employees and try to balance both life and work. We are always promoting positive benefits and events for our employees to enjoy and utilize.

Pros

PTO is generous that’s about it

Cons

The management WAS great , now it’s horrible. A lot of micromanaging going on and favoritism. A bunch of kids running the department and the hybrid schedule makes no sense. Gas is 5 dollars there’s no reason for a 3 day work week. We worked from home during Covid for 2 years.

Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate that your time working here wasn't satisfactory to your desired needs. As an organization and the services we provide, it is important for us to collaborate and learn from each other; many times this is with in person interactions. Our managers, whether senior or emerging, are supported and guided to develop their skillset with many of our managers having embraced partnering with a leadership coach to align to our organizational expectations. I am hopeful that your next role is one that meets your needs.
