Pros

The office is in Paris, and the projects are interesting and impactful. Like for any consulting firm, it is a good school of business, with the benefit of being a creative work environment.

Cons

Because of the no work-life balance culture, you never actually get to enjoy the city (talk about a french way of life!)... too much of the company's communication is based on "poudre aux yeux", they try way too much to be the cool kids in town, when they are actually not. The management is distant and snob, unless you have the same background as them, or unless you are of incredible personal value to them (if you have an outstanding alumni network): they play favorites, and not in a good way. Like all french, they are obsessed with the "grandes écoles" system, and it leaves other employees out of the loop.

Pros

Draws amazing employees who are passionate about their work. One of the best groups of people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. FABERNOVEL takes on exciting topics and projects.

Cons

Horrendous work-life balance. Lack of organization and unclear priorities. Inability to provide employees with basic resources. Total lack of competent project management, or any sense of organization.

Pros

Great member base in the coworking space Near public transit

Cons

Management is nearly non-existent No structure in place for growth or upward movement High turnover Company is based in Paris, and SF is not a priority Confusing bonus structure offered instead of pay increases, and the not honored after goals are met - had to get a lawyer involved to get bonus that was in my offer letter, which was super strange No accountability for team or management Long hours, no rewards No investment in employee happiness, growth or quality of life Seems to be run like a boys-club - if you are French you have a clear upper hand Tons of labor laws being broken Worst health insurance ever
