Pros

There are literally none to name

Cons

Too many to name, I just wanted to reiterate to the witnesses of history and to any future poor souls that may end up here for work or god-forbid, business, that this place is a dystopian hell hole ran by an alcoholic, psychopathic cult leader that doesn't deserve a moment of your precious time on this Earth. He will exploit you, abuse you, belittle you, and work you into poverty Go literally anywhere else. And remember, Patrick Condon is subhuman

Pros

FBC has cultivated an environment where their employees can take on a lot of great project opportunities within a short amount of time. You can quickly gain experience and knowledge because of the amount of projects you are responsible for.

Cons

Build joy. Doth protest too much….. There is a core group of longtime employees at FBC Denver who make the work environment more challenging than it needs to be. They push communication, teamwork and collaboration (JOY!), yet they aren’t people you would ever trust or want to have a conversation with. There is no joy, laughter, or warmth, especially when they self describe themselves as introverts who hate socializing and talking to other humans. We are all introverts to a degree but being so outwardly vocal about hating other people then continuously scheduling meetings when people keep you at an arms length is a form of gaslighting I no longer wanted to be a part of. Honestly, this sort of thing happens often in work environments but it becomes daunting when the mantra of the company is Build Joy. Employ joyous leaders and the joy will come naturally instead of feeling forced and over engineered.

As always we appreciate the candid feedback. We are so glad you felt like you could take on exciting projects and were able to gain knowledge here, we definitely believe in continuous learning. To address some of the other areas; we did launch our very first engagement survey to create more transparency and really take in all the feedback the team has to offer. We have been able to make many changes as a result. Additionally, we are working on diving deeper into some issues by utilizing focus groups. We are hoping this will achieve more joy for everyone.

Pros

I met a lot of wonderful people working at FBC. They do hire some pretty great people so you may snag some long term friends while you are there. The clients are nice and the work they do is beautiful! Since it’s a small company you’ll get some experience working in various roles in marketing if you are testing out a marketing career.

Cons

The culture at FBC is toxic and the team turns over about every 6 months to a year in Denver. The culture and leadership style will be their downfall. You will constantly be forced to admit your flaws while leadership claims they are always working on theirs. Disagree with one of them and you’ll be on a hip. (Performance improvement plan) =

I appreciate the acknowledgement about our people. I agree, we hire amazing people! As a people department one of our top priorities this year is working on reducing our turnover and strengthening our culture. We are striving for more tenure, especially in our Denver office. Based on your review it sounds like you have additional feedback that would be helpful and important to friends of yours still working with the company. I would encourage you to call and give your feedback to anyone in the people department. We are very happy to hear what you have for us!
