Pros

•Exposure to studio environments and creative clients, Opportunity to see how photo/video productions operate, Some hands-on experience with studio equipment and operations

Cons

Role often felt like a full-time workload compressed into part-time hours, Physically demanding work including frequent heavy lifting and equipment movement, Wide range of responsibilities for the pay/hours (operations, equipment, client support, maintenance), At times management responses to workload and safety concerns felt dismissive

Pros

Great networking, personal studio space

Cons

Management is horribly bad, communication is even worse! This is the type of job where you wear a lot of hats for little pay. They won’t award you for doing more. Clients are either stupid or jerk and even both. Management expects you to do an adequate job with very little resources and won’t reinforce their own rules if it’s inconvenient.
