Pros

I found sensible attitudes and friendly people, perhaps this wasn't one of the most ambitious companies in San Francisco at that time, but then again we were acquired by Yahoo.

Cons

I think it would be difficult to gain many skills at a company like this that would help you along in your career, might be a good place to settle in for a long time if you're comfortable with that.

Pros

Nice people, nice pay. Older and more relaxed culture than many similarly valued companies.

Cons

Difficult to get anything done since priorities were unclear during this period.

Compelling value for my time

Pros

There are many high quality big data, machine learning and real time processing problems to solve. The engineers at the company are really smart and there are several very good PM's. The culture is truly merit based.

Cons

The portfolio of products has been a bit too broad for the staffing and in some ways the company is a bit of a victim of its own success where there is quite a bit to do to be truly excellent.
