COO insists on full control

Pros

The team members and management are all excellent people who are very good at there jobs.

Cons

COO is a micro-manager that requires all decisions for all of his teams to go through him. I have attended management meetings where he ask's vague or granular questions in front of the CEO as the managers struggle to respond. The COO then rewords his question and answers it himself in order to humiliate his Managers and impress the CEO. Claims to be "goal" oriented but in actuality this is a form of control over his managers. COO likes to threaten managers with termination if they do not deliver and meet his expectations.

Workplace bullying at its worst

This company has potential to grow and be a leader in the aviation data management field. They possess some of the most talented folks that I have ever worked with.

Cons

The executive team has several members that use their power to bully the employees making it a hostile work environment. This is well known, documented and then turned a blind eye too it. I am surprised they have only had one lawsuit.

Pros

Great when it comes to requiring time off for family or medical issues. Innovative and unique product. The company has some very dedicated and talented people.

Cons

Poor communication from management and between groups. Lacking direction and planning. Nepotism-based hiring that often results in the wrong personnel in important positions. Almost no effort put into employee retention and personal development. Puzzling hiring and firing decisions.
