Pros
Not much. Steady paycheck, I guess?
Cons
What once was a workplace free of abuse and open to change for the betterment of the organization now is filled with toxic, abusive, manipulative senior leadership that only care to pad their pocketbooks at the expense of great employees. Sadly, 95% of the employees that got FM to a place of great potential are no longer employed (most by their own choice, some by the choice of senior management because they were seen as a threat.) At this point, this lifeless husk of an organization is hoping to sell to yet again another private equity firm in the next 12 months. So expect significant pushes on you to make big money for this small company relatively quickly after being hired. Senior leadership is doing anything possible to ensure they maximize every ounce of money out of this place, so if you don't "make money" for the company quickly after being hired, anticipate being let go in short order. Oh, and the senior leadership team that pretend to be "woke" in an effort to try to relate to "peasant floor workers" is painfully transparent. Almost to the point of laughter. Considering the post COVID world: if you're applying to be a remote employee, believe me when I say you can do much better. With better benefits, too.
