Cons
The people at FOI are in many cases not socially gifted, and making friends is a full-time job by itself. Everyone works in personal offices and rarely does anyone try to make any new friends. Maybe because the vast majority of people working at FOI already have been there for 20+ years and already decided who they hang out with. The management at FOI is also very slow moving and belong to the old school. If you have experience of modern tech companies or dream of a creative atmosphere, you might need to change your way of working. The salary I was offered to stay at FOI was on the low side. Yet, the career opportunities and salary growth at FOI is limited.
