Great work-life balance. Flexible hours if you're not on the Trade Desk. You are your own manager. Very entrepreneurial environment, especially for a hedge fund. The senior management, also known as the fund managers, encourage learning inside and outside the office. Willing to pay 100% for grad school in economics, computer science, or finance. Opportunities abound for technological and financial understanding of the capital markets.
Cons
Lack of overall management. Almost too "flat". Little if no chance for career development in this systematic trading fund because there are no levels to advance too. High employer turn-over due to lack of proper business planning. Employees without guaranteed bonuses are underpaid in terms of end of the year bonuses compared to most hedge funds.
