Pros

Not much except you collect a paycheck til the next layoff. Not too busy since the company is actively trying to lose clients.

Cons

Not two weeks after the last layoff (30 people were laid off), there is another layoff. This time 83 people were laid off. And of course the CEO lies and tells the entire company that it was of course part of his plan and the company is not in a financial crisis, and that becomimg smaller would make Fronteo more competitive in the market. Except he forgot the part where Fronteo was competitive until he became CEO, and laying off so many people is reckless and detrimental to the company. Then continued to blame the failures of the company on outdated processes or software. Everyone, and I mean everyone, knows that you are just a puppet for Japan and you are incapable of being the CEO of a publicly traded company. Everything you say is just to sell yourself at this point. But thanks for clarifying the fact that you don't live in a mansion . Great idea to bring that up on a global call with the entire company after another mass layoff. And thanks for sharing your sacrifices. Instead of having a 10 min commute to the redwood city office, you now have a longer commute. Yes, your sacrifice is on par with everything else. Kudos to you. Calls employees out on global calls for asking tough questions. Show some decorum and refrain from doing that. Questions he can't answer, just says he doesn't know and moves on. Virtually everyone that was laid off was not Caucasian. No management was touched. Expect more layoffs next quarter. Clients are furious, and will not give Fronteo business because it is so unstable. And trust, the people you laid off had deep connections with clients. Should have considered that before laying off the workers. The edisco industry is not that big, and people talk. And for Andy's pets and trolls, don't worry, those people are either long gone and have moved on with their lives, or are now Craig's let's and trolls. Blame the current management and their pets for the collapse of the company.

Pros

The pay is the only thing keeping me here.

Cons

Where do I start? They hire and promote grossly incompetent people. We use QuickBooks for accounting software - no, really. We had planned to switch to Dynamics, accounting software for corporations, but that was canceled during the restructuring last summer. It's being considered again, but only if we're profitable. Management in Japan wants results, but can't comprehend that hiring qualified finance people is the smart move. The monthly close (not period end) takes three weeks. Morale is very low - a new person asked me, "Why don't people smile here?" When I interviewed I was told that the company was turning around. Since then there's been a restructuring and no indication of improvement.

Pros

Snacks supplied, work facilities are clean.

Cons

Indecisive, ineffective, clueless, and deceptive upper management. Consistently lie to their clients. Long work hours without any recognition or appreciation for additional effort. Constantly make promises they have no intention of keeping.
