Pros

FRS is a recruitment company that is growing and going places. This is the third agency I have worked for and its quite different to my previous employers. There are quite a few recruiters who have been with the company for many years, this is unusual in the recruitment sector. I think its down to a few things - the commission/bonus structure is very good. If you are a high biller, you get a bigger slice of the pie than at other places I have worked. Secondly, employees who work hard and prove themselves are rewarded with good flexibility. Lastly, I would also say that we have really good company get-togethers twice a year. FRS have worked really hard to put in place a good programme for newer recruits to train them up in the industry.

Cons

The FRS group as a whole is very big and it can take a long time to understand the organisation's structure and strategy. There is no in house advertisement of roles so difficult to know what opportunities exist and to apply for them. Recruiters tend to stay in the same team that they joined.

Pros

My personal opinion not a whole lot.. they sell you a dream to get you in and it is not what it is at all. I would be very careful joining You can pick your hours which is good.

Cons

The working environment is appalling in the Dublin office. No cleaners, food going to decay and it is absolutely freezing. They talk about the port Laoise office but still not much to boast about their coffee was rotten in the cabinets. When it comes to placements, you have to wait till the clients pays and you could be waiting months for this. Also management take a 50% split of commission from accounts that they inherited. The people management is done very badly, have people thrown into management who have never done it and it is very obvious. Have a very high turnover of staff and you can see why. Head of department is not around and you can never reach them. Constant false promises also so be aware of that
