Pros

The people that truly care about the members of the congregation and want to really lead people to Jesus

Cons

They are too many to list that are all over these other reviews if you look from pastors doing completely gross and disgusting things, to “loopholes” such as living on a 2 million dollar property because it is filed as a retreat center and will occasionally invite people out there in groups of like 20 so that they fulfill the minimum requirements and dont actually let the church use the retreat center for anything or even for the youth, they mistreat staff and wont take any accountability for their actions or the calls they make, theres so much more to list and this doesnt even scratch the surface

Pros

I got a chance to work with serval members if the staff who had ambition, love in their hearts, and truly wanted the best for the church members they got to work with.

Cons

Where do I start: -you are REQUIRED to pay tithe; meaning 10% of your NON-gross pay (the pay you would never fully receive anyways), goes back to the church. -Executives all work like bench men for leadership and all jokes aside, the make the culture feel like you are trapped in a cult and if you step out of line not only will you be let go, but also excluded from the church itself. -Hundreds or thousands… Millions of dollars are made at/through this church every year and they don’t have the ability to pay the staff a livable wage (some who have been there for 5+ years) -Every Tuesday, a staff meeting takes place where “culture” is given to its employees. These talks are used to tell staff that they need to be less selfish and put Faith Church above family, your own personal needs, your salary, the list goes on. -With 5+ locations spanning across 3 states, they don’t have nearly half the staff needed to run even just 2 of those churches. Meaning that you will most likely be required to work a position sometime in the future that doesn’t fall under your job description. -Be prepared for your boss to change every 30-60 days. Not only can they not keep the good people in leadership who deserve to be there, but when they are replaced, it’s always most likely by someone who isn’t qualified to be in that position, but is someone who will say yes to leadership at the cost of the mental health of the team who works under them -The money that pastors and leadership receives from the churches Tithes do NOT go to what they are supposed to go to. Pastors use that money to buy things under the churches name for THEMSELVES, and use it as a tax write off. I want to say a lot more but hopefully this is enough. Don’t get me wrong I love the people I got a chance to work with (my coworkers who struggled like I did), they made the job worth it. But it would be wrong not to speak up on the terrible work practices, culture, and what feels like semi-illegal activity that happens here. I’m just waiting for the documentary to come out at this point.
