Pros

I don’t have anything positive to say except that maybe they paid on time

Cons

I started as a part-time floral Merchandiser for one account in orange county. I had approximately three hours of training and was left to figure everything else out on my own. Including what the store manager expected of me as well. Grocery managers are a whole other reason why this job is miserable. While I was actively working here, there were job alerts recruiting my position constantly. When the new regional manager was hired, That’s when things took a turn. I have never seen someone so unprofessional and unliked across all of my accounts. She hired a new person and gave her my account and put me on a route, despite me not being able to accommodate the schedule that was given to me. I was offered a job and took it based upon the schedule. I got my covid shot and had side effects for 2 days. manager texted me constantly, all day even though I could barely function. Texts criticizing me and my work simply because she was inconvenienced and had to step in to help with my route. Floral product was half dead and poor quality. There was a major shipment problem.

Micro-managed mayhem!

Pros

In the beginning, the best thing was the schedule. It fit in with my other job just right.

Cons

They change the schedule without consulting you, pay you incorrectly for mileage, and overwhelmingly micro-manage you. (At least that's what my supervisor did.)

Pros

Employees do their very best to be a team.

Cons

Upper management-especially in the Costco department-are unorganized, play favorites, not supportive of women or LGBTQ employees. They yell, swear and are generally hard to work for. Instead of concentrating on what matters - employees and the client - they are more concerned with charts and tables and forms and making big presentations to the owners. Their training programs are a joke. The product is marginal and they ask you to sell product that should not be sold. Benefits are bad and expensive. You only get one week to decide which benefit you want to accept and some things that are offered nobody can give you the info for them. They do not have an experienced HR department - there is nobody to talk to about your issues. You work over 50 hours a week minimum and more on holiday weeks. Pay rates are low, especially for merchandising positions and some management positions.
