Pros

None , except the fact that they have a cafe ,

Cons

They require so much for little , and there very extra , racist and discriminatory , not a family friendly Company , I was fired for being pregnant , well technically I was on probation but they forced me to quit and kept asking if I was pregnant like it's any of there businesss anyways , being pregnant has nothing to do with job duties , I was judged Because I was pregnant and assumed I couldn't do job duties , I couldve got them in Trouble with the labor board super easily but there's no point in fighting , especially since I'm overqualified for this job and I can find a place that's gonna treat me better , prepare to feel like your being stalked by upper management ,

All employees have the opportunity to file a complaint or grievance if they feel they are being discriminated against and we encourage to do this. FSA is very diverse and in fact the majority of our employees are minorities.

Terrible place to work, worst job I've ever had.

Pros

Some of the non-management staff were good to work with.

Cons

Dom Betro. Dom Betro. Dom Betro. Where to begin? With the sexism? With the irrationality? With the incompetence? With the unrealistic, and ever-changing expectations? With the cold, calculated manner in which he built this "charity" non-profit to enrich his building trade friends? With the delusional board which rubber stamps this CEO's every decision? With the stunning loss of money (donated and/or grants) which has been wasted in his on-going efforts to open food businesses under the guise of fund-raising? And for the grand finale reason NOT to work at this place - 48 of their staff needed food baskets at the holidays - because they are so poorly paid (and treated; Betro's disgust for them is not very well concealed). If you want to be paid poorly, led poorly, work in an environment where favoritism is rampant and ethical behavior rare, this is the place for you!

We are delighted by the vote of confidence for the agency and its new CEO who joined the organization on July 1, 2018. We have taken actual to raise vacation of non-exempt employees to that of exempt level employees and to boost the pay of front line supervisors and workers. After all, they are the ones that fulfill our mission every day in supporting our families and program participants.
