Pros

Really awesome Commercial team on the ground, and some genuinely bright and empowering people to work with!

Cons

Exceptionally poor management! I’m sure this is something that is noted when evaluating a lot of companies, but the difference in ability and trust you have in management vs non-management employees is truly stark. I can only speak from a UK operations perspective, but the management within this team is inept, and trying to build any sense of trust with them is nigh on impossible. This isn’t helped by the unwavering support they are given by our HR team, and it feels like an us vs you culture when it comes to management vs non-management. As mentioned, you will struggle to find a better group of people to work with when it comes to non-management colleagues (although the quality/culture fit of new hires is becoming increasingly detached from this), but this is almost a curse, as it covers the damaging, and sometimes shocking conduct and decision making by Famly’s leaders, and thus would make me advocate against joining Famly to anyone considering a position here.

Pros

The SDR manager brought really good energy, creative activities and good encouragement. The sales team help each other, no vicious sales culture. A great product that truly cares about the practitioner and the individuals who often go unrecognised. I genuinely love the people there, also outside of the sales team. Friday bars and after-work running club/activities, great lunch and facilities in central Copenhagen. All hands on Friday afternoon, keeping the whole company up to date on what's going on. A lot of changes have happened since I left, but I still keep in touch with my former manager and teammates.

Cons

Saturated UK market, the impact of a tight budget and childcare subsidy from the UK government. People get stuck in senior SDR roles and cannot move up to AE or other departments. Base salary was lower than other SaaS companies out there.
