Exceptionally poor management! I’m sure this is something that is noted when evaluating a lot of companies, but the difference in ability and trust you have in management vs non-management employees is truly stark. I can only speak from a UK operations perspective, but the management within this team is inept, and trying to build any sense of trust with them is nigh on impossible. This isn’t helped by the unwavering support they are given by our HR team, and it feels like an us vs you culture when it comes to management vs non-management.
As mentioned, you will struggle to find a better group of people to work with when it comes to non-management colleagues (although the quality/culture fit of new hires is becoming increasingly detached from this), but this is almost a curse, as it covers the damaging, and sometimes shocking conduct and decision making by Famly’s leaders, and thus would make me advocate against joining Famly to anyone considering a position here.
