Pros

Direct managers and team members are nice people doing their best to keep up with changing demands. Remote work was really great. Had a lot of flexibility with my time if I had to take an appointment. No questions asked if I was feeling sick and was encouraged to use PTO. I was rarely expected to work overtime or after hours. If I was, lieu time was offered and respected.

Cons

ELT might have a lot of experience in other fields, but they are fighting a losing battle and it seems they are just reacting instead of following a real strategy to bring the company to a profitable path. Massive waves of layoffs so you're always feeling like any second it could be you. They introduced time tracking which is literally a joke to expect people to be working 9 hours a day even during their lunches to justify that they shoudln't be laid off. What next? Measure our keystrokes? (Sorry if you're still employed there and they introduce that idea because of this comment). ELT has a brand new idea because they see something interesting (competitor has an interesting ad, competitor has interesting product, competitor has interesting feature, etc.) and expect every team to pivot to that new idea instantly, but that happens every other month. Literally. No. Strategy. Managers just agree to every whim that ELT have so you're just catching up with no real system and no way to measure if you're doing your job effectively. HR introduced a goals system where everyone has to make a goal where we state how we're going to bring in revenue. Lol................ Be for real, Farmers Edge.
