New Management - Going Downhill Fast

Pros

The company was taken over by a private equity group in mid-2020, it was formerly family-owned. The only pro is that there are still some great employees with the company who are trying to save the business. Sadly management (mainly the new CEO) only wants to listen to the people he's brought on since he started, instead of the people who have been around since the beginning and know the business.

Cons

So many.... If you value your opinion being heard, don't work here. If you value work life balance, don't work here. If you don't like being publicly shamed (screamed at in front of coworkers), don't work here. If you're looking to work for a business that is projecting growth, don't work here. Most importantly, if you're looking for a great workplace culture, DO NOT WORK HERE.

Pros

Lots of great people still in the organization. Pay was in line for the most part.

Cons

Leadership doesn’t have an understanding of CPG or candles(Trapp). They were all friends in the automotive industry prior to coming here and don’t understand that there is very little parallels and should not push away all the tenured employees.

Pros

Work life was good until new C lvls came in and only thing that matters is bottomline.

Cons

No raises, reviews or performance recognition. No room for advancement. Lots of office politics
