The absolute worst company I've ever worked for

Pros

4 day work week, that is literally the only pro.

Cons

Working at Feathr was a complete and total waste of my time. Not only is leadership a complete and utter joke, the CEO is one of the absolute worst people i've literally ever met, this is my opinion. If you are neurodivergent, a minority or someone who cares about career development dont walk...run far away from this company. Not only are minorities not respected, they are completely ignored in terms of any sort of career advancement opportunities in my opinion. Leadership is completely unqualified in my opinion because everyone in leadership roles are married to eachother or related in some other way. The company does not pay their employees a livable wage. The leadership at this company should be completely and utterly ashamed of themselves for the way they are conducting business and the way they treat people. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I knew there were dozens of past employees who were so heavily discriminated against by me, but hey, that requires a conscience. Everything written in this review is my opinion.

Pros

The pros are the the people you work with on a day-to-day basis. Most are open minded, accepting, and willing to help. You also get a 4 day workweek (which is why most people stay). If you are in Gainesville, the salaries are about on par with what you’d expect.

Cons

Im my opinion, the cons are that the founders are unbelievably insensitive, inexperienced, and full of bravado. It seems they started this company to boost their ego and wallets, but have no clue how to run one. The CEO specifically is the reason I could no longer work for the company. I no longer could stomach filling his pockets peddling a lackluster product and their severely lackluster DEI efforts. He’s completely unaccountable for any and every ridiculous and offensive thing he says (which are never ending and often), and I seriously doubt that will ever change. Idk, if I were you, reading these reviews thinking about joining this company. I’d run the opposite direction. Unless you’re a white, rich man who loves being the devils advocate, in which case I imagine you’ll fit in wonderfully.

Pros

Decent company culture, good people to work with, fun environment, 4 day work week (sort of, not 32 hours per week - closer to 40)

Cons

The company tries to balance being both a fast paced startup while simultaneously attenpting to create structure and order for people that aren't able to operate in an agile/scrum environment. Trying to do both can lead to different interpretations of what employees goals, initiatives, and day to day look like. Sometimes balancing those two things made it difficult to effectively accomplish either.
