Pros

Great benefits on paper as you can see the management/marketing team keeps listing over and over on this website under different individuals.

Cons

I was avoiding this in an effort to maintain a good relationship with the company, but based on all the blatantly fake reviews written by the management I figured I should enlighten any new prospect. There will be new prospects and it will happen quickly. The turnover rate on the contracts team is disturbingly high. I was always shocked at how the clients did not seem concerned that they were giving all their company information to multiple individuals who move to competing companies within months. - NO training. This job can be accomplished by someone with a high school diploma which is all that one of those with a high title has in the company has. Management relies on the inexperienced to work for them so they can be paid very little and talked down to. It is important that everyone knows their place at this company. You will be reminded often that your degree means nothing and that a typo is an offense that will get you fired. - Working Hours. What working hours? There is never a time when you are not working. 12 hours a day and working through lunch everyday just so that when you do have the PTO you can work some more from home. - Sneakiness. They are sneaky with their clients and sneaky with the clients end users. The constant lying is overwhelming.

Flexible Company with Great Benefits

Pros

There are very few companies that offer the same level of benefits as Federal Schedules - full health care, 401 K, employee stock ownership, 2 weeks of vacation, 2 weeks of sick (can be used as vacation), all federal holidays and your birthday off, time off for volunteer hours, in addition to gym membership, Costco membership, and tuition reimbursement. Hours are flexible and during the summer the company offers early closure on Friday, provided there are no time-sensitive projects. There's no micro-managing and significant flexibility in relation to the performance of my job. As a small company, there is minimal red tape to go through to start a new initiative or change an existing process. This benefits me personally in my position, as well as the company as a whole. As changes occur in the industry, we are in a position to respond quickly. Overall, Federal Schedules is a company that I'm proud to work for. The people are incredibly talented and everyone works hard because being client-focused is an actual priority and not just a bullet point in our marketing copy.

Cons

There is not the same level of advancement opportunities that you might find at a larger company. However, there is room for advancement and there is significant opportunity for professional development and growth.
